I managed to get a fair amount of geology fieldwork done and have indeed upgraded the website. I got on with jobs on the house and I supported my wife a lot more. The wife has stopped nagging, for the time being and the back and hips have calmed down. I am more used to being blind in one eye and my son Mark is helping out in the brewery now and then, even getting some work experience elsewhere and maybe some training too.

So it is looking up. I am not getting any younger but I do love my brewing and there are still so many beers to explore. So, with luck, I will carry on for the foreseeable future.

Brewed a beer this week: Back from the Dead (with revivalist ingredients - Chevallier 1824 malt, Ernest hops and ancient Norwegian kveik, revived from its slumber on my yeast ring). I do like a bit of irony.Martin Warrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01413587623203970113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2293226264732436076.post-37417834297483920052017-04-22T07:01:35.873-07:002017-04-22T07:01:35.873-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Martin Warrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01413587623203970113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2293226264732436076.post-73745731842851462092017-04-21T22:05:58.598-07:002017-04-21T22:05:58.598-07:00such a beautiful and intresting write up.thanks Ma...such a beautiful and intresting write up.thanks Martin, keep share in future.timber floor sanding & polishing shellharbour
dpstimberflooringhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10352855137091136793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2293226264732436076.post-5057151430872313482017-04-21T01:11:28.954-07:002017-04-21T01:11:28.954-07:00wow such a lovely write up.very informative and we...wow such a lovely write up.very informative and well explained post.
thank you for sharing with us.
Cheap Motor Insurance Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18289811192205841994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2293226264732436076.post-2374967430005270692016-11-30T15:38:07.519-08:002016-11-30T15:38:07.519-08:00Thanks Kevin, it was great to meet you both. Thanks Kevin, it was great to meet you both.Martin Warrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01413587623203970113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2293226264732436076.post-59685199484286812342016-11-30T13:43:41.882-08:002016-11-30T13:43:41.882-08:00Incredibly moving writing Martin. I was looking forward to visiting your brewery at some point, but that doesn't look very likely any more.

Anyway, best of luck. I'm impressed by how well you've kept your spirit up so far.

Oh, and I hope you do write the geology book.Lars Marius Garsholhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15442220825022305581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2293226264732436076.post-89083716994230361382016-10-26T05:34:10.422-07:002016-10-26T05:34:10.422-07:00Wow Martin, what a lovely write up, albeit the sad...Wow Martin, what a lovely write up, albeit the sad nature of its content. I wish you all the best for the future, for both you and your wife. I shall be ordering as much Poppyland beer as I can fit in the garage! All the best.CrookedEyeBoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09901872256572687221noreply@blogger.com
